  • The following statement should appear on the certificate of origin and commercial invoice:

We hereby certify that the merchandise is wholly produced in the United States of America and with labor and materials in the aforementioned country. Thus, we assume full responsibility for any inaccuracies or errors therein.

  • The documents should be certified first by the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce 
  • Then the documents should be mailed to the Honorary Consulate (P.O.Box 2392, Birmingham, Michigan 48012-2392) with Self-addressed stamped envelope, and the fee in money order or certified check payable to: the Honorary Consulate General of Syria.
  • The fee should be calculated as follows: Certificate of Origin fee is $10, and commercial invoice fee is 1.0% of the value of the invoice (limited by $16 minimum and $1,500 maximum)

  • Certifying requires 24 hours. Documents will be returned by mail only.
